Tourism in South Jersey - and throughout New Jersey - is
changing. These changes are all part of a plan to help
visitors to New Jersey get access to all the state has to offer,
from the local experts in destinations throughout the state.
You can visit
NewJerseyDMO.org to see the official travel and
tourism experts for every destination, no matter where you
go in New Jersey. And of course, you can always check out
VisitNJ.org to get statewide travel information.

While VisitSouthJersey.com has been the go-to website for
information on travel to South Jersey’s Delaware River
Region since 2003, we have some great new partners in
Mercer County who know
Trenton and
Princeton, inside and
out. And since the Delaware River Region is the largest
tourism region in the state, there are plenty of hotels,
restaurants, attractions, arts and culture to
go around!
So while the area around the state’s capitol is in good hands,
VisitSouthJersey.com will still be the place to come for
Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem County for travel
information. Not only that, but over the last few years, we’ve
realized something... we’ve got A LOT of wineries here in
South Jersey! As a matter of fact, we have a bona fide,
federally-recognized American Viticultural Area (or AVA - which
is basically a fancy name for a wine region) and now we’re
going to flaunt it!

Right now the South Jersey Tourism Corp. (SJTC) is hard
at work, developing a new website focused on getting
around the Outer Coastal Plain AVA (that’s the official name
of our wine region). Check it out at
VintageSouthJersey.com.
We’re also coming up with some great new tools for our
visitors, and creating fun new events to enjoy.
But of course we’re more than JUST great wine, so later in 2013,
a new VisitSouthJersey.com will debut,
with all the great travel information you’ve come to expect -
plus more! This sleek, simplifed package will emphasize
meetings and group travel, along with a full compliment of
tools and information for residents and leisure travelers.
SJTC is excited about the new offerings we’ve already
rolled out for our visitors, and we look forward to providing
even more, soon.

While VisitSouthJersey.com is
closed for remodeling, we’re
offering “Trailways to the Past,”
our comprehensive guide to
historic sites in South Jersey, at
a deep discount. Get one today,
and thanks for your patience!
